I am inspired by the natural beauty of the materials around us, especially the almost endless palette of colors and patterns found in hardwood. I try to combine elements in ways that complement each other in new ways, while always striving to make something beautiful and useful. Each piece offers its own journey, starting with a vision and intention, but inevitably undergoing a process of change and discovery along the way.

Designing chess sets provides an opportunity for some fun miniature sculpting. I try to give each set its own features and personality.

Most mirrors come with a safety backing of wood to protect the glass. The glass can also be easily removed and replaced with a picture.
