A raised, random mosaic of yellowheart and ebony tiles borders strands of yellowheart and ebony beads, resting on a cushion of red velvet on the inner field.

The refracted tiling of the border is reflected in the
strings of beads of the interior.
Connections of the bead strings are hidden but accessible
in each corner.
The protective back is held by sterling silver
stays, and can be opened to access the mirror.
